Savemore.com is a SCAM website! Beware
Do not buy anything from Savemore.com. I was able to redeem the first couple of deals I bought from them, but all that has changed. I purchased a Papa John's Pizza voucher from them a couple of months ago, and have not been able to redeem it. I have called them a couple of times, but their lines are too busy to get through, so they say "leave a number", which I did, but they never call back. I have emailed them several times, but and they kept promising me things, but now they won't even respond. I have found numerous sites, where people are saying they were ripped off too. Avoid this company, they are a SCAM!

Poor woman, I guess the relatives of the people who died in this disaster shouldn't be angry. I mean after all his wife says he is a nice guy. She just doesn't want to lose her lifestyle/meal ticket. She should be ashamed for defending this murderer, and apologizing to the vistims and their families. Oh, I guess she wouldn't dare do that, it may imply guilt on the part of her idiot husband.
We are humans and we do make mistakes, but there are just some things that are just too reckless and avoidable, that they should never be forgiven. The rewards that the captain would have gained by showing off his ship, were certainly not worth the risk of danger to so many people who placed their lives in his hands. On top of everything, he is a coward among cowards, which is proof that he only is concerned with himself, and no one else matters in his world...it's all about him.

He wrote the book because he feels he was misrepresented as a bad father, while he admits in this interview that he committed "felonies" in his relationships with his kids. Nobody has talked about this guy in years, now he thinks that writing a tell all book is going to redeem his good name, and send his children running back to him. No, he is jealous of all the fame and money that his ex wife and children have, and that he wants them to break him off a piece. He is so transparent. After not making any big effort to see his kids when they were younger, how can he be surprised when now they don't make any effort to see him? Having sex and having a kid is one thing, being a parent to that child is a whole other book (so to speak). Just the fact that he is writing a book trying to dig out negative stuff on his ex and his wife, prove that all he wants is money, not to improve the relationships, or cast himself in a more positive light. Newt Gingrich is the devil
I cannot believe that people are actually starting to support Newt Gingrich. He is a philanderer, dishonest on so many levels, and just pure evil if you ask me. He left his first wife during her cancer scare, left his second wife (who knows if the open marriage things is true or not), but he was cheating on her before their divorce. He's lucky to be getting laid at all with a face like that.The fact is that he is on his third marriage, isn't that reason enough to question his judgement?! This country is going to hell in a handbasket.
Sometimes when a man is as offensive looking as he is, I think they secretly harbor resentment towards women. I believe it is because they remember the times before they had money, and couldn't get a date to save their lives. I do not dislike unattractive men, I do not discriminate against anyone on the basis of the way they look, but I do discriminate against A$$H*les.

Niners Lose Blame Kyle Williams (did he take money?)
I can't believe it, our Niners lost thanks to Kyle Williams. I hope he gets cut, and not picked up. He blew it so bad, I almost wonder if he took some money to do it on purpose. What a disappointment, he blew it for the whole team, and the bay area. When you make millions of dollars to train day after day, to do something which is not rocket science, and your failures and cost people millions of dollars, and hurt the local economy, you just plain suck! Maybe he should move in with Billy Cundiff from the Ravens, who lost the game for his team too, and they can both cry on each other's shoulders. I think they should both be forced to tattoo the word "LOSER" prominently on both their foreheads, I'm sure there are a lot of people who would donate money to pay for those tattoos.

Raven lose, blame Billy Cundiff and John Harbaugh
Talk about blowing it big time! I can't believe the Ravens lost to the Patriots. IMHO, the coach and the kicker are to blame. In the second quarter, the Ravens should have went for a touchdown, instead of kicking a field goal. They were on the half yard line, WTH were the coaches thinking?! As far as there running game, why did they keep trying to run the ball unsucessfully straight up the middle...if it don't work, then fix it. I love the Harbaugh brothers. Jim has alwayds been a favorite of mine from long ago when he played on "Da Bears". Let's hope he plays a better game than his brother.

Occupy Protests San Francisco

This morning when I turned on the news, they were interviewing a woman about her reasons for joining the ranks of the "Occupy Movement". She said something to the effect of "Bank of America is making millions, while people are losing their homes, I lost my home, they are closing our schools etc etc". OMG a company actually making money, the nerve of this company for trying to stay afloat in this economy, and provide jobs for the working class. The strange thing was, that I the night before, I had accidently dropped a plate on my foot, and I didn't realize it at the time, but I believe that Bank of America may have been behind that too.
I do believe that protest groups have a place in society. Kinda like a yin needs a yang to keep the balance. But, what most of these empty headed, ignorant, need to get a life losers, fail to see, is the big picture. Don't they have anything better to do with their time? Don't stand around and talk about change, go out and do something to really make it happen. Talk is cheap, use your brains and stay home and write letters, start a business if you can't find a job. This is America, and the possibilities are limitless. What does it take to make these zombies realize, that they are only further hurting the economy. They are preventing others from getting to their jobs, they are choking off small businesses from their customers who want to avoid the filth and ridiculousness that surround this flea circus. Yes, I want things to get better, my home is underwater too, but why is it Bank of America's, or any other big businesses fault?!
At this point, I would bet money that 100% of the 99% of the Occupy movement, are completely clueless about how they are only making things worse for the middle class. What do they think they will ultimately achieve? Do they think the banks will suddenly "wake up" just pay off all their homes, or give them income for doing nothing but whining about issues that are too complex for them to understand? Do they have some grandiose plan that is yet to be revealed? If you cannot offer any clear solutions, perhaps you should step back and quit leaving your trash and disease all over the city, and let the people who do have jobs, get to work. I've yet to hear a single one of them say anything relevent, or offer any clear solutions.

Boy, the lengths some people will go to, to achieve their 15 minutes of fame. This woman/bimbo is trying to defend the actions of the captain of the Costa Concordia. She claims he stayed on the ship for several hours, whichs completely contradicts several accounts given by other passengers. She doesn't look like the type to risk her cheap manicure, hanging out on a sinking ship. She isn't attractive at all, so I am sure she must be starved for a little attention. How would she feel if one of her family members was hurt or injured on this ship, all in the name of "showing off".
She speaks of what a skillful navigator the captain is, how would she know. Perhaps she has seen him drive the boat in some unique way, like Tommy Lee did in his x rated video with his then wife Pamela Anderson. She also speaks of how he saved over 3,000 lives, but wasn't it him who put those lives in danger in the first place? What about the lives that were lost? I will do my best to refrain from any blonde jokes at this point.
Please don't publish any more info on this woman. She belongs in same "Hall of Shame" where people like the Octomom, and Jon (how do I spell my own name?) Gosselin reside.

New SF Sheriff Arrested for Abusing Wife

Is this man for real?! I sincerely hope that they can convict him for more than the 12 years for abandoning ship that they speak of in the news. I think that he should be charged with negligent homicide, or whatever maximum charges are applicable in this type of case, for each person that is found deceased as a result of his attempt to "show off the size of his vessel".
What a cowardly idiot this man is. You can tell that he thinks he is clever when the coast guard is ordering him back onto the vessel. He keeps stalling for time, his tactics are so transparent they are comical. I bet he would leave his own mother and children inside of a burning building rather than endanger his own life by trying to save them.
I hope they make this man pick up trash on the side of the highways for the rest of his life. Make him pickup all the pieces that are closest to the side of the highway, so he can freak over the impending danger that the cars whizzing by him all day pose to him. Make him wear a sandwich board identifying him as the "Captain of the Costa Concordia" while he picks up rubbish. I bet he was very proud of the fact that he used to be a captain, so why not let him strut his stuff. After all, according to him it was not his fault that there was an uncharted rock on the nautical maps. Poor man, he is just another victim of circumstance...NOT.

Garth brooks wants his money back

I love Garth Brooks music, but this doesn't affect my opinion on this story. I cannot believe that this hospital will not grant Mr. Brooks request after he made such a generous donation. Not to mention that legal fees to defend this case, could potentially cost the hospital more than the amount of the original donation. I don't know who calls the shots at this hospital, but I advise them to "wake up and smell the coffee". Perhaps a personnel change is in order. A good "spring cleaning", and an apology would probably be a wise choice at this point.

CHOP Denies Disabled Girl Kidney Transplant
I have thought about composing a blog for years, I just never seemed to find the time to do so. Today I saw a story in the news that is quite sad, but because my opinions on it are different than what the website monitors think they should be, they will not allow my comments to be posted. This irritated me. Why should my comments not be allowed, isn't this a free country?! Do I have to agree with this article, or the people in the article, to allow my opinion to be heard? I understand the love this woman feels for her daughter, but at the same time it is obvious that her love is also very selfish. She wants to keep her daughter alive, so she (the mother) can feel better. She doesen't even consider the quality of her daughters life. It seems to me that even with the transplant, the prognosis for her daughter surviving long term, isn't very good. The trauma involved with surgery, should also be considered.
Kidneys do not grow on trees, and it is my belief that a healthy kidney should go to a person who has a better long term prognosis. Not to mention, that the cost of this operation, and the long term maintenance costs to keep this child alive, should not be pushed upon us taxpayers. The country is in bad economic shape, and we need to learn that we cannot cater to each and every individual's needs. If the parents choose to donate one of their kidneys, pay for the operation and all the long term care needs of their child, then go ahead and do the operation. But, please don't put your hands in my pockets, I want to heal the economy, and this will involve many tough choices on our part. I don't believe in the welfare system either, some short term aid is acceptable, but I believe that after a couple of years, all aid should be cut off, and sterilization of chronic welfare abusers, should be implemented.

Not to mention that she changed the original content in her blog, because before she changed it, she spoke about the doctors "pudgy brown face," and then mentions his race and accent. Hmmm, since when is it okay to discriminate on the basis of the color of one's skin or nationality, not so nice. I guess we should all just forgive this, since she is in the middle of feeling so sorry for herself. If you read between the lines, you can also tell that this woman has a very pushy nature, and is most likely very rude, and most of the people who support her, probably wouldn't like her if they met her in person in a store, or restaurant, when she was trying to push ahead of others in line.
I do feel bad for this child and her family, but I also feel resentful that this mother should try and push her selfish wants and needs upon the rest of us. The people who think that this child should have the operation, go ahead and send them a wad of cash and help support this child and her medical needs. Not just once, you need to pay for her long term care too. How does that feel? You are trying to tell me what to do with my money, but I bet you didn't like me to tell you what to do with yours. Sometimes in life, the best thing is to just let nature take it course. Life is not fair, and that is just the way that it is.
